The Origin:
Since childhood, drawing leafless trees, I have been drawn to what often goes unnoticed. When I first used an analog camera at university, I realized my attention naturally focused on the incomplete, overlooked, and unresolved. What began as an instinct gradually evolved into a distinct way of seeing that continues to define my practice.

Cinema & Collaboration:
For more than two decades, I have worked across cinema, photography, and visual art. As a cinematographer, I have collaborated on feature films, shorts, and documentaries screened at major international festivals, including Berlinale, Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Locarno, and IDFA. Working across diverse cultural and geographical contexts has shaped my understanding of the image as both a form of documentation and a medium of interpretation. My approach remains rooted in observation, atmosphere, and the intricate relationship between light, space, and human presence.

Visual Practice & Installations:
Alongside filmmaking, photography is central to my practice. Through exhibitions, long-term projects, and video installations, I explore memory, absence, and perception, drawing toward images that resist immediate interpretation to invite deep reflection. Today, my work navigates between commissioned productions, independent films, and contemporary art. Whether collaborating with a full crew or developing an intimate personal project, I remain fascinated by how images shape our understanding of experiences and what they communicate just beneath the surface of the visible.
